The Gregg-Adams Spouses’ Club awards scholarships recognizing academic achievement. This application is open to graduating high school seniors, prospective college or trade-school students, and current full- or part-time students who plan to continue their education toward a degree or certification.

Eligibility: Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. If a school uses a pass/fail transcript and does not calculate a GPA, the application will be considered as a 3.0 GPA for scholarship scoring.

GASC membership: A parent or legal guardian must be a current paid GASC member with a full-year membership ($25) before the application is submitted. Membership cannot be purchased through this application.

Scholarship limitations: An applicant may receive a GASC scholarship no more than twice, and no more than once in the same year. Applicants may apply for only one scholarship category each year. The GASC Treasurer sends scholarship funds directly to the school’s bursar office; funds are not paid directly to the student. Electronic payment will be available if necessary.

Application process: Applications and recommendation letters are submitted electronically. The application must be completed and submitted in one session. Applications are scheduled to open January 4, 2027.

Please prepare the following before beginning:

  • Information about schools attended

  • Academic awards and honors

  • Extracurricular activities

  • Work experience

  • Community-service activities

  • Responses to six short-answer questions (up to 750 characters each, including spaces)

  • A current transcript

  • Names and contact information for two eligible recommendation writers

After identifying your two recommendation writers, send each writer the GASC Scholarship Recommendation Submission link. Letters should describe the applicant’s character traits, the writer’s relationship to the applicant, and examples that demonstrate the applicant’s character. Both writers must submit their letters directly to GASC before the published deadline.

Incomplete applications will not be considered. All identifying information will be removed before qualified applications are provided to the Scholarship Committee for judging.
