Each November, GASC is tasked with decorating the Ft. Gregg-Adams’ Club for the holiday season. We take great pride in Decking the Fort and couldn’t do it without the volunteers that help decorate (and undecorate!) and the donated Christmas decorations that make it all possible.
In addition to decorating the common areas, many of the decorated trees in the ballroom are sponsored by private organizations or Major Commands/Units on post. When the doors are open to welcome guests to a variety of events throughout December, the transformation of the space to one filled with holiday cheer is the highlight of the season at Ft. Gregg-Adams.
UnDecking the Fort will start at 9am on Tuesday, 2 January.
This year’s Deck the Fort will take place on Tuesday, 28 November from 9am until 3pm.
For those that commit to helping for at least a two hour shift, as a thank you the FGA Club will provide lunch. The Club requires a headcount, so RSVPs are due by NOON on 15 Nov.
